LOGAN COUNTY TREASURER
ACCORDING TO OKLAHOMA LAW, YOU HAVE 30 DAYS FROM PURCHASE TO TRANSFER TITLE ON YOUR MOBILE HOME. IF YOU DO NOT COMPLY, YOU WILL BE SUBJECT TO A CITATION FOR “FAILURE TO TRANSFER” WHICH WILL COST OVER $200.00 IN COURT COSTS AND FEES.
1. Obtain original title from the individual selling the mobile home to you. The back of the title must be signed over by the seller to the buyer.
2. A 936R Form must be completed in the Logan County Assessor’s Office. The Assessor will then send you to the Logan County Treasurer’s Office to finalize the form. The Assessor’s Office is located in the Courthouse Annex at 312 E Harrison, Guthrie, OK 73044. The Treasurer’s Office is located in the Courthouse at 301 E Harrison, Guthrie, OK 73044.
3. You will be required to pay all past due taxes. You will also be required to “prepay” the current year’s taxes. Once all taxes are paid in the Logan County Treasurer’s Office, a deputy will complete the 936R form. A copy of this form will then be given to you, along with the new decals for your tag.
4. You will go to an Oklahoma Tag Agency of your choice and present the original title and the copy of the completed 936R Form and apply for “Title Change”. Your new title will be mailed from the Oklahoma Tax Commission to your home address.
5. Once you receive your new title in the mail, you must (by law) present either the original title or a copy of your new title to the Logan County Assessor. The Assessor’s Office will then update the tax roll with your name and address which will insure that you receive your tax statements on the mobile home in a timely manner.

ONCE AGAIN, IF YOU DO NOT COMPLY, YOU WILL RECEIVE A CITATION WHICH CARRIES A FINE OF OVER $200.00. THIS CITATION WILL BE PROCESSED THROUGH THE LOGAN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.
